PLEASE, read description and FAQ section before you send me the message or question.
I get tens of messages every day and now it is not manageable for me to answer them all.
However, if you have any question related to your, order, quality, shipping, feel free to ask.
Does your cassette deck eat tapes? Does tape curling occur at the
beginning
of the tape? Are levels unstable? Is your deck not erasing correctly? Does it have high wow/flutter? Then it is time to replace pinch roller.
However, this pinch roller of correct dimensions and correct rubber hardness is unobtainable. I had to solve this problem. That’s why I decided to try their production.
The ring is made from high quality material. The dimensions are exactly the same as original. The rubber hardness is also appropriate. You can replace the original toller 1:1. Please, see the images, this is real photo of the new roller.
Dimensions: OD: 9 mm, Hole diameter: 2.5 mm, full height: 7 mm
About the price:
They’re made in small amounts, the price per piece is high. Please, do not contact me for price reduction. This is the real price, that I had to pay for, plus there is manual work involved.
MY ROLLERS are NEW, maximum 2 years old
. After 2 years, I will order new production.

FAQ section
Q: I can hear lot of wow/flutter
A: There can be many reasons for it.  Most often it is worn pinch roller, dirt in the belt path, dirty or dry moving parts of player, polished capstan, dry capstan bearings, wrong belt size or quality, etc.
Q: Do you also fix cassette players?
A: Yes, I’ve fixed many of them.  Usually for my friends and for me. I have about 400 of them. Sometimes I also fix players  for eBay members but I’m very busy.
Q: I need advice regarding fixing cassette players
A: I am very glad to help. Unfortunately, I get so many question, that I’m not able to answer them all. Pl
ease visit tapeheads.net or stereo2go.com sites and ask experienced members, there. Answers are then available for everyone. I also contribute there.
Q: Do you also sell players?
A: Not now, may be one day…
Q: What is the correct belt path routing?
A: Google search your model and display result as images. Usually you will find photo of mechanics. If not, make your photo and send it to the forums mentioned above. I will try to help.
Q: My model is not listed, do you have belt, pinch roller or idler for it?
A: If it is not listed, it means that I do not have information about the size. In  case of the belt, please measure the belt length. Stretch a piece of string along the belt path and measure the belt circumference. Send the measures to me. From this I can measure the original belt size. In case of pinch roller, send me the outer diameter, rubber height, hub height and hole diameter.
Q: What belts do you sell?
A: I sell only hard-to-get belts used in later walkman models. Thicker belts used in early models should be available elsewhere.
Q: How long do belts usually last?
A: Usually about 20 years. It depends on the amount of additives added during vulcanization process. I tried to avoid using too much additives for increasing the material elasticity, so I hope the belt will last longer. But who knows…
